Hallgarten Wines Launches The Cellar Series
The best of Bordeaux’s drinking vintages, from the finest Châteaux, available to the UK trade.
Specialist wine importer, Hallgarten & Novum Wines, has announced a new initiative that is set to change the way premium venues buy fine wines. The Cellar Series gives Hallgarten Wines’ customers in the hospitality and retail sectors access to a range of fine wines from Bordeaux, with a selection of vintages that are in their prime drinking window.
Launching with wines exclusively from some of Bordeaux’s top châteaux, The Cellar Series is a selection of exceptional fine wines carefully curated by Robert Mathias MW and négociant partner La Compagnie Médocaine des Grands Crus. Sourced from some of the finest vineyards, with unique terroirs and winemaking expertise, these superb wines are the embodiment of individuality, elegance and distinction.

This selection of prestigious wines from Bordeaux come from the region’s finest chateaux and estates across the appellations and communes of this most famous of winemaking regions. The wine selection ranges from Cru Bourgeois to First Growth, and comes direct from the chateaux with provenance and traceability.

The Cellar Series promotes the relationship between Bordeaux and the top-end hospitality and independent retail trades. It reinvigorates the drinking and enjoyment of premium Bordeaux wines and ensures they are accessible to wine lovers, connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
This is the only way to access fine wines from the most famous chateaux in Bordeaux, rather than via the broking, collectors and trading routes. The Cellar Series enhances the focus on fine wines, offering customers ongoing access to some exclusive parcels of iconic wines.

The wines will be unveiled at a tasting of The Cellar Series at the Banking Hall, London, on 25th February 2025, attended by representatives from the châteaux.
