New Listings at Top London Restaurant Opening
London’s newest fine dining restaurant - Spring at Somerset House - has opened to rave reviews, which is great news as it’s carrying a handful of top HDN wines.
This very trendy establishment received a 4-star review from the Evening Standard’s Fay Maschler this week. “There is nothing contrived, tricksy or evasive about Skye Gyngell’s dishes, just an innate understanding of what goes with what,” she writes.
The wine list is a modest affair - just 70 bins - with some exciting wines listed from the HDN stable. These include: Sugrue Pierre Brut 2010, Kozlovic Malvasia 2013, Gaia’s Thalassitis Assyrtiko 2013 and Larry Cherubino’s The Yard Acacia Shiraz 2012.
A superb selection to complement the fine food that chef Skye Gyngell is creating and the buzz around this new opening.
