Royal Albert Hall Casts Hallgarten Wines as Newest Brand Partner
London’s most iconic venue, the Royal Albert Hall, has appointed specialist wine importer, Hallgarten & Novum Wines, as its newest Brand Partner, entrusted with the sole supply of wine to the concert hall for three years, delivering its premium wine offering to the venue’s auditorium and Elgar Room shows via the Hall’s on-site restaurants and bars.
Davina Sasha, Head of Partnerships and Hospitality at the Royal Albert Hall, said: “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Hallgarten & Novum Wines, whose range of excellent wines, stand-out reputation as a sustainable supplier, and vast experience in working with major venues makes them the perfect fit. We look forward to working closely with them to enhance our wine offering, and make sure that every customer’s visit to the Hall is an extra special one by introducing a new wine option alongside our longstanding favourites.”
For each of its 400 events each year, the Royal Albert Hall will be pouring from a constantly evolving wine list, across the venue’s 13 bars and restaurants. The wine lists for each event will champion diversity and sustainability, as both businesses look to embrace the world around them and minimise their impact on the environment.
Howard Corrigan, Director of Channel – Sport & Leisure, at Hallgarten & Novum Wines commented: “The Royal Albert Hall is one of the most recognisable venues in London, offering guests world-beating experiences, and I am personally extremely proud to play a part in this. Through our partnership together, we hope to elevate the Royal Albert Hall’s wine offering and provide Friends and Patrons with a selection of sustainable wines befitting each performance, and the venue itself. As well as training the front-of-house team on the wine selection, we look forward to elevating the customers’ experiences with pre-performance tastings and tailored wine parings in the restaurants.”
Hallgarten Wines’ team of WSET-certified Educators will coordinate a comprehensive training programme with the front of house teams at the venue to maximise opportunities with Friends and Patrons of the Hall.
