
Hallgarten & Novum Wines takes on exclusive distribution of Jim Barry Wines
Specialist wine importer Hallgarten & Novum Wines has today announced it will take over the exclusive distribution of one of Australia’s most iconic producers, Jim Barry Wines, in the UK from June 2018.
The family winery’s whole portfolio will be transferred to Hallgarten, including the multi-award winning Armagh Shiraz, Florita Riesling and the recently released Assyrtiko available to both the on- and off-trade.

Jim Barry was the 17th qualified winemaker in Australia and the first qualified winemaker to work in the Clare Valley, wanting to start their own label they started producing wine under Jim Barry Wines in 1959. Jim Barry Wines now produces fruit from vinicultural holdings at 12 locations in the Clare Valley totalling more than 250 hectares, along with 2 properties totalling 35 hectare in Coonawarra.
Jim Barry Wines joins an already strong Australian portfolio in Hallgarten, which includes Larry Cherubino, Berton Vineyards and clos Clare, run by Tom and Sam Barry.
