Hallgarten & Novum Wines Appoints Brand New Head of Operations
Specialist wine importer, Hallgarten & Novum Wines, has appointed Julien Lever to the newly created role of Head of Operations. Lever will be instrumental in ensuring that Hallgarten fulfils its organisational goals, and will oversee Sales and Planning Operations practices across the business.
Lever's new role at Hallgarten will align sales and planning operations, including distribution, stock management, and customer service. This comes after a year of substantial growth for Hallgarten that saw the company add over 30 new suppliers and over 20 new hires in 2025.
With a wealth of experience in the drinks industry, Lever previously held supply chain planning positions at Oddbins, as well as serving as Director of Global Sales and Operations Planning at Accolade Wines for nine years, and most recently served as a Lead Consultant at Windwhistle Consulting for four years.
