Great Review for Star HDN Wines Account Gymkhana
Fresh from claiming the top spot in Restaurant magazine’s 2014 ranking of Britain’s 100 best restaurants, Gymkhana in central London has received a glowing review from the Telegraph’s Matthew Norman.
Bringing ‘Anglo-Asian elegance’ to Piccadilly, this new opening has attracted much attention and praise for chef-patron Karam Sethi, with Norman particularly enthusiastic.
“Wow,” he writes. “On a game-dominated menu that that is even manlier than the decor, not a single dish fails to entice. The execution more than matched the allure of the printed page.”
What he fails to mention is that Gymkhana also has an impressive wine list, with HDN Wines contributing a number of key wines right across the range.
Michele Chiarlo (by the glass), Hamilton Russell, Kozlovic, Gaia, Gerovassiliou, Andeluna Cellars, Woollaston, Saint Clair and Chateau Ksara all feature, showing once again the type of accounts that are being opened in London and beyond.
