Introducing our customer ordering app
We are delighted to have evolved our online ordering offering with the launch of a customer ordering app, allowing our partners in both the On and Off trade to order wines 24/7, saving them up to 50%* of time in preparing and submitting an order, giving operators more time to spend with their customers.
Powered by SwiftCloud, the UK’s number one B2B ordering platform, the technology will allow customers to order their wines from wherever they are, at whatever time of day, with next day delivery to large parts of the UK. The app is available to download on both iOS and Android.
Once registered, customers can browse Hallgarten’s portfolio of over 1,000 wines, search for individual products by product code, by description, or find a wine by scanning its barcode. To ensure efficiency of ordering, product listings in the app are updated live with stock availability and customers’ order history is available to view, and repeat order, from the home screen.
The app is tailored to the needs of each of Hallgarten’s accounts, allowing multiple team members to be able to access a site’s order history, its list of ‘favourites’ and customised ‘shopping lists’, which allow decision-makers to define the selection of wines that can be ordered by their teams. The app also gives customers access to exclusive offers through tailored push notifications, hand-selected by Hallgarten’s buying team.
Hallgarten Wines Managing Director, Andrew Bewes, commented:
“We first launched an online ordering platform in 2016 and have been looking to expand it ever since. Over the past year we have looked for a more intuitive platform for our customers, which would enable them to work both on the move and at their desks. SwiftCloud provided this solution and we are delighted to now be launching the Hallgarten App. Whilst the past year has taken its toll on the industry, it has given us the chance to take a step back from our service offering, look to the future and invest in this exciting development.
“We acknowledge the limitations of operating our offices on a 9-5 basis whilst serving a customer-base (both On and Off) which works very different hours. Our goal was to offer our partners a technology that enables them to order their wines at any time of day or night and from any location. SwiftCloud, as the leading provider of B2B ordering platforms, was the obvious partner for us in this technological development. Our over-riding goal is to be a business partner of choice to our customers, providing a complete service offering – not just supplying a product – and we believe this takes us another step forward on this journey.”
James Clarkson, CEO of Adventoris, developer of SwiftCloud, commented:
“We are delighted to have the Hallgarten & Novum Wines team onboard and are confident that our SwiftCloud technology can improve and enhance their ordering and sales processes. Strengthening the optimisation of existing customers ordering experiences and providing a continued and trusted service, even when the economic climate is so tumultuous.”
