Frescobaldi’s Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino Named Wine of the Year
Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi’s Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2010 has been named Wine of the Year 2015 by esteemed critic James Suckling.

The wine, which was given a 97-point rating by Sucking, also featured in the top 10 of the Vini d’Italia Top 100 2015.
Here’s what Suckling had to say about the wine: “A ripe and silky red with plum, mushroom and dried chocolate character. Full body, lovely ripe tannins and a delicious finish. The purity of fruit and tannins is so impressive. Glorious.”
