‘Staying In? Try a South African wine’, says John Wilson of the Irish Times. Couldn’t have put it better myself!

In his latest wine feature for the newspaper, wine critic Wilson extols the virtues of the ‘revolutionary’ wines coming from the Cape at the moment, including Lismore Estate’s Chardonnay and Viognier.

“In a short time she [Samantha O’Keefe] has made herself one of the most respected wine producers in South Africa,” he writes. “I tasted her Chardonnay alongside an excellent Viognier.”

He goes on to review the Chardonnay 2013. “Superb… subtly spiced and fresh with luscious fruits… impeccably balanced”.
